As the Climate Change Units (CCUs) Development Project comes to a successful close, SHiFTERRA Consultancy is proud to celebrate a significant milestone in strengthening Egypt’s institutional capacity for climate action.
Working closely with the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in partnership with Integral Consult and ECCSCO, our team contributed to the development of a standardized institutional framework for Climate Change Units across government entities.

MRV Systems
Designing integrated Monitoring, Reporting and Verification systems to strengthen transparency, accountability, and climate performance tracking.
Climate Action Plans
Preparing tailored Climate Action Plans for 19 ministries and governmental entities, providing clear roadmaps for climate mitigation and adaptation.
Climate Information Center
Supporting the design of the National Climate Information Center to enable integrated climate data management, reporting, knowledge sharing, and evidence-based decision-making.
Institutional Capacity
Strengthening the institutional foundations needed to support coordinated climate action and long-term climate resilience across government institutions.
